High-precision sensing technology and real-time monitoring with multi-layer protection for maximum reliability.

REAP protects the system with 5 layers of safety, one on top of the other — from the single cell all the way up to the whole container — so it stays reliable in all conditions. Every system is certified to UL 9540A, IEC 62619, UN 38.3 and UL 1973.

Safety Layers

  1. Cell level: the battery management system (BMS), which keeps the battery running safely, plus constant temperature monitoring
  2. Module level: keeping all the cells balanced
  3. Pack level: liquid cooling to control temperature
  4. Container level: early gas and smoke detection, with fire suppression that releases aerosol or inert gas
  5. Site level: separated compartments and the ability to shut the system down remotely
